Flower Workshops
Love ‘n Fresh Flowers hosts over 20 hands-on floral workshops each year. These intimate classes, capped at 12 participants each, explore both sustainable floral design and flower growing. Unless otherwise noted, our workshops are suitable for all skill levels and attract flower enthusiasts from near and far. With supportive guidance, students use a bounty of flowers and foliage grown just steps outside the studio door. Create a one-of-a-kind floral design that reflects your own unique style! Join us to learn the joyful art of floral design and to connect with others in an unforgettable setting. Workshops also make great gifts for the flower lover in your life!

Online Learning
Flower farmers and other floral professionals can level up their businesses and increase their understanding of sustainable flowers through several online resources stemming from Love ‘n Fresh Flowers. Jennie Love mentors fellow flower pros in thoughtfully structured online courses, bigheartedly sharing more than 17 years of experience and leadership in the industry.
Jennie stewards the Regenerative Flower Farmers Network (RFFN), an online community that learns together about thoughtful land stewardship through flower farming. Members of RFFN have access to several online short courses and live Q&A events to get expert guidance in the field.
Jennie hosts two popular podcasts. For flower farmers, check out No-Till Flowers, a podcast dedicated to regenerative farming practices. For florists, check out Floral Guild Radio, a podcast sharing stories and insights from florists committed to locally-grown. These free resources are an entertaining listen while you work!

The Impact of Local
What can locally-grown stems do for you?
More Creativity: Even a simple display of blooms is an expression of creativity. When you explore the numerous and unique flowers grown locally, you’ll find your creativity expanding as you move beyond the florist classics.
More Joy: Numerous studies have shown that flowers increase happiness, reduce stress, and enhance overall satisfaction. Local flowers add another layer of fulfillment when you know the blooms in your hands are also supporting your local community and economy.
More Connection: At a local farm like ours, you’ll meet your neighbors and make friends over the flowers. You’ll get to know those that grow your flowers and connect more deeply with Nature.
What Can Locally-Grown Stems Do For The Earth?
Less Carbon Burned: Imported flowers in the US typically travel 2,500 or more miles in refrigerated planes, trucks and boats to reach you. Ours are grown right here.
Less Chemicals: During the growing process, imported flowers are exposed to 100+ chemicals that are banned in the U.S. These are chemicals that end up in our water and on your dining table. Our flowers are chemical-free.
More Habitat: Our farm creates critically-needed habitat and supports healthy soil stewardship to ensure our region’s ecosystem can better weather the storms ahead.
